Installation

Simply attach one or more Idemflow drip emitters directly to flexible garden hoses using typical hose fittings such as 3/4" thread quick release universal fittings.

For a more permanent micro watering installation PE-tubing with 3/4" thread fittings can be used instead of flexible garden hoses.

Watering can be delivered directly from each Idemflow drip emitter to the plants or use Ø4 mm soft tubing and possibly a distributor fitting to direct the water to the required location.

Why the Idemflow drip emitter

No matter what your water supply pressure is or how long your garden hoses are, you will always have the same constant trickle of water delivered at each emitter. Having a gravity watering system or installing a pressure reducing valve is not necessary.

Clogging of particles and mineral deposit of ochre or limescale in the emitters and tubes of a micro irrigation system is a typical problem. Using Idemflow drip emitters reduces the sensitivity to clogging and is simple to clean. Therefore, proper filtering of water and pH control to reduce mineral deposit is not strictly necessary.

(Most appropriate water pressure range is from 1.5 to 5 bar)
